The design task

Every tank is a different diameter, so the dome geometry is different on every job.

Laying out the triangulated panels and struts by hand is slow, and the fabrication drawings have to be rebuilt to match.

What the automation handles

  • Dome geometry generated from the tank diameter rather than modelled per job
  • Panel and strut layout derived from that geometry
  • Fabrication and erection drawings produced from the resulting model

Generated output still needs the checks and approvals required by your engineering and manufacturing process.
